Women's Tennis Comes up Short To Husson in Conference Semifinals

Portland, ME - The SUNY Delhi women's tennis team season comes to a close, falling to Husson 8-1 in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) semifinals.

Delhi would go on to take one of the three doubles matches, earning their victory by way of their strongest double all season long of sophomore Hallee Bodo and first-year Alyssa Gregorius. Trailing the match 2-1 heading into the singles portion of the contest, Husson would take care of business, closing the door on a possible comeback. Husson went on to take all six of the singles games, catapulting themselves to an 8-1 victory.

Delhi finished the season with a 4-8 record, 3-2 in conference play in the team's return to action. The Broncos posted an impressive season and step in the right direction moving forward, reaching the NAC semifinals in their first action in the last four seasons.
