Delhi, NY - The SUNY Delhi women's tennis team returned to action against Bard College, falling 7-0 in their first home contest.
Bard took care of each of the three double matches, not dropping a single game; the squad carried that momentum into the singles matches to come away with the victory. Sophomore Hannah Shafer was able to win multiple games in both of her single sets, while first-year Virginia Savage and senior Jennifer Roche Jimenez each grabbed a game in one of their two single sets.
Delhi moves to 0-2 on the season and will next play Mount St. Mary away on Thursday, Sept. 12 at 5 p.m. as Bard moves to 1-0.
