Women's Tennis Dominates, Defeating Lyndon In Conference Opener

Lyndon, VT - The SUNY Delhi women's tennis team was back in action Saturday to take on Vermont St. Lyndon as they opened up conference play with a commanding 9-0 victory.

Delhi cruised through doubles action, with Hannah Shafer and Juliana Plue taking their match 8-0 and Hallee Bodo and Alyssa Gregorius matching them with an 8-0 shutout performance of their own. That momentum carried into the singles portion of the match as the Broncos completed the clean sweep over the Hornets, not dropping a single game across their single matchups. Hannah Shafer, Juliana Plue, Hallee Bodo, and Alyssa Gregorius all recorded dominant 6-0 performances.

The Broncos move to 1-3, 1-0 in conference play on the season as they collect their first win and will next play Vermont St. Johnson away on Sunday, Sept. 15 at 12:00 p.m. in another conference matchup.
