Johnson, VT - The SUNY Delhi women's tennis team was back in action Sunday to take on Vermont St. Johnson in a conference matchup, earning a dominant 8-1 victory.
Delhi dominated in doubles action, with Hannah Shafer and Juliana Plue taking their match 8-4, while Hallee Bodo and Alyssa Gregorius completed the 8-0 shutout in theirs. Virginia Savage and Afsah Diabate finished out the 3-0 sweep with an 8-2 victory of their own. The Bronco's success moved into the singles portion of the match as Delhi went on to win 5 out of the 6 single matches. Hannah Shafer, Juliana Plue, Hallee Bodo, Virginia Savage, and Alyssa Gregorius all recorded wins.
The Broncos move to 2-3, 2-0 in conference play on the season and will next play SUNY Oneonta away on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 4:00 p.m.
