Delhi, NY - The SUNY Delhi women's tennis team returned to action against Rutgers Camden, falling 7-0 at home.
Rutgers Camden took care of the doubles portion of the match, winning all three sets (6-3, 6-1, 6-0) to earn the point. Delhi's duo of first-year Alyssa Gregorius and Juliana Plue put up the best fight, taking three games in the set.
In the six single sets that followed, Rutgers-Camden completed the 7-0 sweep, taking each of the six single matches. Sophomore Hallee Bodo posted a strong performance in a back and forth game before ultimately falling 10-7 in the third set.
Delhi moves to 2-5 on the season and will look to remain undefeated in conference play as they take on Husson at home on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 1:00 p.m.
