DELHI, N.Y. (October 4, 2017) – Just one day after earning his third ACAA Athlete of the Week award, junior runner Kobie Lane (Port Jervis, NY / Port Jervis HS) picked up his third weekly national honor of the season from the USCAA.
Lane earned the honor after finishing as the Broncos' top runner for the fourth straight time this year on Saturday, placing 32nd at the 8K Lehigh University Paul Short Run. In a race that featured NCAA Division II and III runners, the junior finished with a time of 25:20, setting a career high and posting the third-fastest time in school history for an 8K race. The Broncos averaged a 26:10.47, a new school record for the fastest five-man average over an 8K course, good for 14th in the 24-team field.
