Moheimani Paces Delhi For Second Straight Week as Broncos Place Tenth at Hamilton

HAMILTON, N.Y. (September 9, 2017) – The SUNY Delhi women's cross country team trekked to the Hamilton Short Course Meet on Saturday. Arielle Moheimani led the Broncos, placing 25th, as the team finished tenth with 273 points. Rochester won the event with 43 points, while Utica placed second at 70 points and Hamilton third with 71 points.

In a field of 137 runners, Moheimani paced Delhi for the second straight week, clocking in at 15:56.4, good for 25th place. Elise McIntyre finished 90th with a time of 17:40.5, while Rainey Cerqua placed 94th at 17:46.3. Jewel Pignetti placed 102nd with a time of 18:06.5, as Tristen Bowker finished 116th at 18:44.1. Beverly Gruet (18:49.1), Brittany Adams (19:13.1), Julia Witt (19:21.3) and Susan Hoskins (19:52.6) also ran for Delhi Saturday.
