Delhi's Swim and Dive Team Traveled To Harwick for First Action of the Season
Oneonta, NY - The Men and Women's Swim and Dive team traveled to the Hartwick Relays Sunday afternoon to start off their season. They start the 2022-23 season with a new head coach Sam Miller, who has been a head coach at Delhi since 2017.
 
The Broncos competed in five different events over the Sunday event. The first event the Broncos swam in was the Men's 3x100 Yard Breaststroke Relay. Jonathan Branthwaite. Travis Belanger and Steven Castronovo combined for a time of 3:51.69 and 7th place.
 
The next event was the Mixed 200-yard Medley Relay, where Belanger, Branthwaite, Ashley Berger and Catherine Messina teamed up to place 7th overallThe Delhi Women then competed in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, where Skyler Nowalk, Berger, Messina and Jessica Roon finished with a time of 2:01.19. While the Men swam in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, with Belanger, Branthwaite, Aiden Record and Castronovo for a time of 1:46.82The Bronco's last appearance in the relays came in the Women's 200 Yard Medley Relay where they finished 7th with a time of 2:25.64
 
Their next swim meet is Saturday, October 22 at Hartwick College with swimmers starting at 1:00 PM.
