CAZENOVIA, NY (January 29, 2022) - The Delhi swim and dive team was back on the road again this weekend, this time to Cazenovia College for a three team meet with Cazenovia and Wells College.

The women were led by Alexandria Caceres and her three individual victories.  Caceres won the 50 yard freestyle with teammate Jessica Roon in second with times of 28.37 and 31.99 respectively.  She also won the 50 yard butterfly in 31.02 and the 100 yard individual medley in 1:12.83.  Roon picked up a win of her own when she won the 50 yard backstroke (35.98)

On the men's side of things the team was led by Travis Belanger and his two individual victories.  Belanger led a 1-2-3 Bronco sweep in the 50 yard breaststroke taking the win in 31.89 seconds, followed by Jonathon and Jeremiah Brathwaite in 36.87 and 37.15 respectively.  In the 50 yard freestyle, Belanger again led a 1-2-3 Delhi sweep winning the event in 25.68 seconds.  Teammates Sebastian Herrera (26.52) and Jeremiah Brathwaite (30.05) followed for second and third place. Jonathon Brathwaite added a win of his own when he won the 50 yard butterfly in 36.45 seconds

Finally, Belanger, Jeremiah and Johnathon Brathwaite and Herrara teamed up to win the 200 yard freestyle relay in a time of 1:55.78.

This meet wraps up the regular season for the Broncos as they will now prepare for the trip to Bangor, Maine for the North Atlantic Conference Championships hosted by Husson University.
