WATERVILLE, Me. (October 25, 2021) - The storied career of SUNY Delhi swimming & diving's Alexandria Caceres (Pine Bush, NY / Pine Bush) reached another interesting chapter as she was named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women's Swimmer of the Week for her performance at the season-opening Hartwick College Invitational. Caceres became the conference's first-ever recipient of this weekly honor since the league added swimming & diving as a sponsored sport.

The senior came within .8 seconds of the school record in the 100-yard freestyle at 58.15 to place third in the event, a record held by her former teammate Kaitlyn Quezada. She again finished third in the 50-yard iteration with a mark of 26.69. 

Caceres and the Broncos have their next meet scheduled at Utica College next Friday, Nov. 6 at 6:00 p.m.
