DELHI, N.Y. (October 22, 2021) – The SUNY Delhi women's and men's swimming and diving teams open their 2021-22 season this Saturday at Hartwick College. The Broncos are led this season by new head coach Ben Finnigan as the team dives into their first season as full-time NCAA Division III members.
SUNY Delhi will also officially compete in its first-ever North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championships this February at Husson University since becoming members during the 2020-21 year. Last season's conference championships were conducted virtually in March. Returning this year are Jeremiah Brathwaite, Jonathon Brathwaite, Alexandria Cáceres, Joshua Lopez, and Sebastian Herrera.
The Broncos open their slate up the road at the Hartwick Invitational this Saturday, Oct. 23. Delhi then jumps to Utica for a Nov. 5 meet, then Herkimer on Nov. 20. The green and gold have a meet at fellow NAC program SUNY Cobleskill on Dec. 1, then head to Wells on Dec. 4. They ring in the new year down in New Jersey for the William Paterson meet on Jan. 14, followed by another trip to Wells on Jan. 22. Delhi has one more regular-season stop at NAC-member Cazenovia on Jan. 29, with the NAC Championships hosted by Husson University from Feb. 4 to Feb. 6. CLICK HERE TO VIEW OUR ONLINE SCHEDULE!
