Oneonta, NY— The SUNY Delhi men's tennis team was back in action Monday afternoon, falling to Oneonta 7-0 in their last non-conference match of the year.
Delhi's doubles win streak would come to a hault as Oneonta would take all three doubles matches to warn the early 1-0 match lead, in the singles portion of the contest Oneonta would remian hot and complete the clean sweep. The Broncos's top performance came from #3 Singles Nicholas Vanhouten, who was narrowly defeated (2-6, 5-7). Nolan Kleinsasser would also show a valiant effort, taking sets from Oneonta's Nate Inzerillo. In the end Oneonta would record the 7-0 and put an end to Delhi's four-game win streak.
Delhi's record drops to an even 4-4 on the year, as they finish up their regular season at home on Saturday against Thomas College.
