Men's Tennis Comes Up Short to Norwich

Northfield, VT - The SUNY Delhi men's tennis team returned to action Saturday afternoon for an away conference contest against Norwich. The squad is coming off a loss to Bard College as they look to capture their first victory of the season.

Similarly to their first two matches of the season, the Broncos were able to secure one of the three doubles matches this time, coming away from the duo of Nolan Kleinsasser and Gavin Bonczkowski. Norwich would respond with wins of their own in the following two matches to earn an early 2-1 match lead. The Cadets would ride that momentum into the singles portion of the contest, recording a clean sweep in the six singles matches that followed.

Norwich would cruise to an 8-1 victory as the Broncos fall to 0-3 on the season and will take on Vermont State Johnson away on Saturday, April 5th for another conference matchup.
