Rachael Scoones (Waterville, NY / Waterville) hit her first career home run Sunday during SUNY Delhi's NAC West Playoff Series at Cazenovia. Scoones came to the plate in the third inning of game two, taking a high first pitch to straightaway center. It was the Broncos' third home run of the day after a seventh-inning homer from Kayla Beers in game one and Katelynn Rose's long drive just one inning before Scoones'. Delhi finished with a 12-8 overall record, marking the team's winningest season since transitioning to four-year athletics in 2016.

John Amenta (Fishkill, NY / John Jay), in just his fourth career meet at Friday's Bronco Twilight Classic, took down the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference (AARTFC) qualifying mark in the 5000 meters with a time of 15:20.23. He came in less than five seconds under the regional qualifying standard, which sets him up with a date at St. John Fisher next week.
