DELHI, NY (February 5, 2022) - The SUNY Delhi women took to the floor again today, this time for their first matchup of the year against SUNY Poly.  The Broncos fell to the Wildcats 87-44, but prior to the game, they honored there lone senior, Tiesha Mayfield, for her energy and enthusiasm in her first year on the team.  In a fitting start, Tiesha scored the first basket of the game for the Broncos.

Leading the team in scoring again was Angelica Lazo, who dropped 24 points.  This caps off a big week for Lazo in which she scored 40 points in two games against Cazenovia on Wednesday and Friday.  Justine Lubbers led the team in rebounds with six and Myles Matthias led in assists with three.

Next up for the ladies is a rematch with SUNY Poly on Tuesday before heading north for games against Canton and NVU-Johnson to cap off their regular season.
