Broncos Travel to RPI Tuesday, Look Ahead to Saturday's NAC Opener vs. SUNY Cobleskill

TROY, N.Y. (November 30, 2021) - The SUNY Delhi women's basketball team had the opportunity to partake in Liberty League action Tuesday night at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, facing an Engineers squad that structured a sizable 91-27 contest. 

Angelica Lazo, Justine Lubbers, and Jahdahh Lennon represented 26 of Delhi's 27 points, with Lazo dropping ten and Lubbers and Lennon adding eight apiece. Juana Severino accounted for the remaining point on a free throw, while pulling down a team-best five rebounds. Both Lazo and Lubbers shot 4-for-11 from the floor, as Lennon fared 3-for-9 and 1-of-1 on 3-pointers. Five Engineers finished in double digits in scoring, with a high of 15 markers from Heather Converse. 

The Broncos open up North Atlantic Conference (NAC) competition Saturday, hosting SUNY Cobleskill at 3:30 p.m. following the men's game.
