ALFRED, N.Y. (November 21, 2021) - SUNY Delhi women's basketball closed out their weekend trip at the Alfred Classic Sunday facing Alfred University, with the Saxons posting an 81-37 victory. Madilyne Kupris led the game with 12 rebounds and added seven points, earning selection to the All-Tournament Team coupled with earning nine points and ten boards in Saturday's matchup with Alfred State. 

Justine Lubbers led the Broncos in scoring with 11 points. Angelica Lazo reeled in nine points with three rebounds, while Jahddah Lennon notched six points. Jennifer Roche contributed four steals, while Marissa Kupris totaled four points with six boards. 

SUNY Delhi shot 29.8 percent (17-of-57) to Alfred's 38.0 percent (27-of-71), with the Saxons posting a 71-34 lead in rebounds, including 23 offensive boards for a 30-6 lead in second-chance points. AU's nine-person bench produced a 39-4 advantage in bench points.

The Broncos head into Thanksgiving Break with preparations to travel to face RPI Tuesday, Nov. 30 at 7:00 p.m. before opening up their NAC season home against SUNY Cobleskill Dec. 4 at 3:30 p.m.
