DELHI, N.Y. (April 26, 2019) – The SUNY Delhi men's tennis team takes their skills to this Saturday's NAC/NEAC East Division Tournament, with all three tournament matches set to be held throughout the day at The Edge in Essex Junction, Vt. The Broncos earned the third seed after acquiring a 4-7 overall record and 2-2 conference mark, and will face second-seed MCLA (6-4, 3-1 NAC) in the semifinals on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. The matinee postseason matchup will be a rematch of both teams' regular season finale meeting on April 18, where the host Trailblazers edged out a 5-4 NAC victory.
The winner will face the winner of the preceding semifinals matchup between top-seed Thomas and fourth-seed NVU Lyndon, slated for Saturday at 9:00 a.m. The finals will take place that afternoon at 3:30 p.m. The NAC/NEAC East champion will move on to the following weekend's crossover championship against NAC/NEAC West Division champion Lancaster Bible on Sunday, May 5. The Chargers defeated Penn State Abington, 5-4, in Thursday's division championship.
About the NAC/NEAC Men's Tennis Crossover Championship:
The NAC has partnered with the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) in the sport of men's tennis since the 2010 season. The NAC competes as associate members of the NEAC, with each conference divided into an East and West Division. Each division holds a championship and the two divisional champions meet to determine the conference champion. The winner of the NEAC/NAC East Division Championship will face the NEAC/NAC West Division Champion in a crossover championship match on May 5 at the Tri-City Tennis Club in Latham, N.Y.

NAC Athletes of the Week
