DELHI, N.Y. (May 20, 2019) – Five SUNY Delhi student-athletes were recognized earlier this month at the college's Barbara Jones Student Leadership Awards ceremony.
Two softball student-athletes were honored, as junior Molly Greene (Glenford, NY / Onteora) received the Leadership Award, while teammate sophomore Dakota Baker (Bogota, NY / Bergen County Technical) earned the Emerging Leadership Award. From the sport of volleyball, junior Erica Prindle (Kingston, NY / Kingston) was accorded the Leadership Award. Men's soccer and men's tennis sophomore Michael Zerniak (Wolcott, NY / North-Rose Wolcott) was presented the Citizenship Award. Women's cross country senior Elise McIntyre (Red Creek, NY / Red Creek) again gained recognition for being honored with the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Student Excellence, which she formally received at a public ceremony in Albany in April.
