Men's Lacrosse recognizes 11 seniors at final regular season home game

Delhi, NY - Men's lacrosse hosted North Atlantic Conference SUNY Poly today at 2:00 PM and were defeated in a tough game 9-5. Delhi has already clinched a playoff berth and will most likely be the third seed in the NAC West behind MMA and Poly.

The Broncos (7-8, 6-2),before the game took the time to recognize 11 seniors who will be graduating this year. The list inlcudes some very key players on the field and in the locker room. The seniors include #0 King White, #3 Kyle Hewett, #11 Joseph Carr, #15 Brandon McGrath, #20 Michael Tullo, #22 Kyle Quinn, #32 Harrison Graizzaro, #33 Logan Bauer, #42 Jack McClurg, #51 Brett Fischer and #88 Zachary Seebach. Each incredible student-athlete has left their unigue footprint on the program.

How it Happened:

After a physical first half, Delhi would find themselves down 5-2 after senior Jack McClurg and Jagger Beachak each put a goal away. The green and gold would pull two back in the third as Brandon McGrath scored an unassisted goal and Beachak added to his total.

But Poly would then close the door in the fourth, adding three goals to the Broncos loan goal. Beachak ended with his third consecutive hat trick as the freshman has really ramped up. Goalkeeper Samuel Steng had a busy day in the net, saving 16 shots on 25 attempts.

What's Next:

The Broncos will wait to see where the end up in the NAC playoffs.
