The broncos break lose as Men's Lacrosse scores 20 in NAC win over Lyndon

Delhi, NY - Men's Lacrosse dominated North Atlantic Conference opponents Northern Vermont-Lyndon 20-1 at home Friday night. Delhi had 12 players combine for their highest-goal-scoring contest of the year.

The Broncos (6-7, 5-1) remain in third place in the NAC standings, winning their last three conference matchups.

How it Happened:

The green and gold were on top of their game from the first minute, outplaying the Hornets in most facets of the game. They outshot them 46 to 11, grabbed 38 ground balls to their 13 and caused 10 more turnovers.

Senior Logan Bauer had himself an incredible night, dishing out two assists while scoring four goals for six points. Freshman Jagger Beachak would also have a career night, recording his first-ever collegiate hat trick as he finished with four points and five ground balls. Mario Simmons Jr., Nico Rivera, Jagger Beachak and Brett Fischer all added two goals each as everyone was getting involved in the action.

A ton of Broncos were able to grab their first points of the season as Brian McMahon, Jack Mulvey and Brett Fischer all found the back of the net. It was all Delhi the whole way through as they rattled off 20 straight goals from the start of the game. They were playing excellent team ball as 16 of their goals came from an assist.

The Broncos will host another North Atlantic Conference match on Sunday, April 16th against Thomas (ME) at 12:00 PM.
