Men’s Lacrosse falls to Morrisville State 8-5 in home opener

Delhi, NY - Men's Lacrosse (0-3) hosted their first game of the 2023 season on the new Neil Riddell Field. After a long back-and-forth battle, Morrisville State would take the win in the end 8-5. The Broncos were able to keep the game close and give themselves a chance in the end, but two late Morrisville goals sealed the defeat.

Delhi had four different scorers that got on the board. Greg Junge led the team with two goals on eight shots, while Benjamin Moscatiello, Kyle Brogan and Logan Bauer all grabbed a goal each. Moscatiello and Junge would also record an assist as goalkeeper Samuel Steng was able to save eight shots out of the 16 he faced.

The Bronco look ahead to an away game against Castleton on March 4th at 4:00 PM before returning back to Delhi on March 8th.
