POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (February 1, 2020) – The SUNY Delhi women's and men's swimming and diving teams completed their regular season with a visit Saturday to the Vassar College Sprint Invitational. It marked the Broncos' last test before heading to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championships, set to take place from Wednesday, Feb. 19 to Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Webster Aquatics Center in Webster, NY.
Diver Joshua Lopez had a strong performance in the one-meter diving, earning 109.58 points for sixth place. Other notable performances on the day included Julia Witt taking sixth in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:11.59 and Taylor Filipowski and Brett Jillson in the 100-yard freestyle. Filipowski placed eighth at 1:04.07 and Jillson ninth at 1:05.51.
