Broncos Ease Past Lesley in Conference play 9-0

Cambridge, M.A. – The Delhi tennis team returned to conference play on Saturday morning, prepared for a doubleheader against Lesley University. The Broncos swept the opener, but the second match would be suspended due to weather conditions.

DOUBLES

  • Benjamin Andersen and Hannah Shafer took on Nick Rosen and James Ontiveros at No. 1 doubles claiming an 8-4 result.

  • Moises Saintil and Devin Guerrieri (No. 2) took on Bennett Locke and Jason Habes. The match would conclude in a 8-1 score in favor of the Broncos. J.T Maccarrone and Jack Madera (No. 3) took on DJ Cronin and Aidan Stafford. This one favored the Broncos duo winning 8-2.

SINGLES

  • Andersen (No. 1), Guerrieri (No. 3), Maccarrone (No. 4), and Madera (No. 6) all double-bageled their opponents 6-0, 6-0

  • Saintil would surrender only one game to his adversary at (No. 2), ultimately securing a 6-1, 6-0 win. Shafer (No. 5), would take on DJ Cronin winning her match with a score of 6-4, 6-0.

With the win the Broncos move to 3-2 one the season and 3-0 in conference play.
