Broncos pick up the win by downing the Hornets 5-4.

Stowe, VT - The SUNY Delhi tennis team concludes a pair of NAC matches held at Topnotch Tennis Academy. On Saturday, the Broncos swept the weekend with a 5-4 win over VTSU - Lyndon in a closely contested match.

DOUBLES

Benjamin Andersen and Hannah Shafer would fall in the first doubles match 8-3. The Broncos took victories at number two and three doubles 8-1 and 8-2 respectively. 

SINGLES

Going into the singles match up 2-1, the hornets shortly regained the lead. Benjamin Andersen and Moises Saintil would give up one and two singles 6-1, 7-5, and 6-0, 6-0. Devin Guerrieri won third singles 6-2, 6-1 to tie the match 3-3. J.T Maccarrone would charge the Broncos ahead winning fourth singles 6-3 and 7-5 giving the Broncos a 4-3 advantage. The winning point came from Shafer at fifth singles with a 6-0, 6-2 victory. 

With the win the Broncos move to 2-2 on the season and 2-0 in conference play.

The Broncos will be back in action next weekend as they visit North Atlantic Conference opponents, Lesley University on April 6th at 11:00 AM and then again at 2:00 PM.
