For the ninth edition of the Bronco of the Week in 2023, we highlight two Broncos who took the past week to stand out. Both student-athletes were on top of their game with men's tennis player Ryan Fitzpatrick leading the team to their first match win of the season and men's lacrosse Sam Beiber making some incredible plays through both of his games.

Ryan Fitzpatrick - (Minisink, NY / Minisink Valley High School) - Men's Tennis

Fitzpatrick had a huge match in the team's win over North Atlantic Conference rivals NVU-Johnson. In the number one singles spot, Ryan swept his opponent in straight sets without giving up a game for his first win of the season. He then combined with a teammate Moises Saintil to win (8-1) as the second doubles team, securing Delhi's first team win of the season.

Sam Bieber - (Homer, NY / Homer High School) - Men's Lacrosse

Sam Bieber has been on a tear for the Delhi Men's lacrosse team over the past few weeks. In their big win over SUNY Cobleskill, the freshman once again led the team with his third four-goal game of his career. He posted five goals, one assists, one ground ball and two caused turnovers in his two games last week.

These Broncos will be in action this week with men's lacrosse traveling to Maine over the weekend, while tennis hosts a match on Wednesday.
