Women's Volleyball falls to Hartwick and Alfred State in tri-match

Oneonta, NY – Delhi Women's Volleyball traveled to Hartwick College for a tri-match against Alfred State and the Hawks, losing both matches in three sets.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • In their first tough matchup of the day against Alfred State, senior Chloe Elsenbeck (New Hartford, NY) delivered an impressive performance with nine kills and two service aces. 

  • Senior Sage Renneisen (Blue Point, NY) contributed six kills of her own, and together, this duo accounted for 37 of the team's 84 total attacks, helped by junior Jaiden Venute's (Flushing, NY) 16 assists.  

  • At the time, these were both players' season-highs in kills for the year. 

  • In the second match of the day, Renneisen continued her breakout day, putting up her new season-high seven kills this time to go along with two block assists.  

  • After making her first match start this season for Delhi, sophomore Laurel Poston (Moncks Corner, SC) recorded 19 assists in the setter position. 

UP NEXT FOR THE BRONCOS:

After a five-match away run, the team returns to Delhi and will host Marywood on Tuesday, September 19th.
