Delhi Opens Road Trip with Defeat to SUNY Poly

UTICA, N.Y. (October 22, 2018) – SUNY Delhi women's volleyball played the first of their four-match road trip Monday night at SUNY Poly, where the Broncos were swept by the Wildcats. While Taylor Tsatsis totaled six kills and Kristen Maslanka five, Delhi's sets were decided by 25-16, 25-12 and 25-12 scores as the team moved to 12-9 on the year.

Poly struck first in all three games, opening the first and third sets with service aces, as well as taking the first three points in set two and the first five in set three. The opening set featured the match's only tie at 1-1.

Erica Prindle led Delhi with 12 assists, while Ashley Hintz led with eight digs. Tsatsis added seven digs and six assists. Haylee Lefebvre totaled four kills.

With three more regular season games to go, head coach Beau Bracchy's next trip is set for local-foe Hartwick on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 6:30 p.m. For the postseason, the Broncos have locked up the fourth seed when they host the ACAA Tournament, beginning with their semifinals match against Thomas More on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 4:00 p.m.
