Delhi Drops Away Match at Elmira 4-1

Elmira, NY - The Broncos (2-5-3, 0-2-1) traveled to an away match against the Soaring Eagles Tuesday afternoon and fell four goals to one. After coming off a big 4-0 win over the weekend the Broncos couldn't rekindle the same magic, only scoring one goal

The Broncos found themselves down early after Elmira found the back of the net in the 8th minute. They would add another goal by the end of the half to pull ahead two, while the Broncos mustered up five shots with one on target

The Broncos would shift keepers at halftime, having Julia Ruppert sub in for last week's NAC POTW, Andraya Hunt. Ruppert would go on to have three saves and let up two goals. The Broncos found their only goal in the 55th minute as Senior Micayla Slattery put away her penalty chance. After scoring last week twice, Slattery now has three goals in the past two games.

The Broncos will look to get back on track Saturday when they take on NAC opponents Thomas College as part of a doubleheader with the men at 3:30 pm
