Senior Kelsey Innes grabs NAC Player of the Week Honor after making History

Kelsey Innes, a senior forward on the Women's Soccer team made history over the weekend. She was not only the second Bronco ever to join the century club (100 career points) in 61 total amount of games but has now tied Bronco's Alumni Katie Herba's (2016-18) record for the most career points with 108.

Senior Kelsey Innes had an incredible two matches last week, leading the Broncos to two big wins against SUNY Morrisville and SUNY Poly with three goals and two assists for eight points during the week. She posted two goals and one assist during a mid-week clash with future NAC member SUNY Morrisville that resulted in a 6-2 Bronco win.

In Saturday’s matchup with SUNY Poly, Innes charted a goal and an assist in a 3-0 victory over the Wildcats. The goal, on a header in the 18th minute, vaulted the Broncos into an early 1-0 lead; it was also Innes’ 42nd career goal, putting her second among SUNY Delhi career goal scorers. She was credited with an assist on the Bronco's next goal and scored barely a minute later, giving her 108 career points to tie SUNY Delhi’s career points record.

Today she will try and break that record in their final home match of the season against SUNY Cobleskill at 6:00 PM.
