Cobleskill, NY - The Delhi (2-5, 0-1) women's basketball team traveled to SUNY Cobleskill (4-5, 1-0) for their first NAC contest of the year, but were defeated 74-41. Junior Jayda Allen was a bright spot on the Broncos, recording her second double-double of the year.

The Green and Gold found themselves down early after a tough defensive first half. Both teams went below 30% from the field as the Broncos went into the half down 34-15. Jayda Allen already had ten rebounds and six points as she led the team.

The Broncos were able to get the offense going in the second half, scoring 16 points in the paint. But it wasn't enough as they would end up falling to their first NAC opponent of the year. Allen would end her night with a 14-point, 12-rebound, double-double. Senior Justine Lubbers also poured in 10 points and eight rebounds. While Allen and guard Angelica Lazo combined for eight steals with four apiece.

Delhi women's basketball will continue on their six-game away streak in the schedule with their next opponent Marywood on December 6th.
