Saratoga Springs, NY - The SUNY Delhi swim team was back in action Saturday afternoon, taking on a competitive field that consisted of Skidmore, Hartwick, Vassar, Mount Holyoke, and Bard at the Skidmore Sprint Invite.
On the women's side, Delhi's best performances came from Adrienne Brill finishing 9th in the 100-yard butterfly (1:19.71) and 14th in the 100-yard freestyle, while Jessica Roon placed 15th in the 200-yard freestyle.
On the men's side, Delhi's top performers came from Gabe Johnson, who finished 5th place in the 100-yard backstroke (1:00.30) and 8th in the 200-yard freestyle. Lorenzo Castro took 7th in the 100-yard freestyle and 10th in the 100-yard butterfly, while Jed Sanikidize placed 10th in the 100-yard freestyle and 11th in the 50-yard freestyle. Isiah Eckman would record the remaining points for the Broncos, posting a 10th place finish in the 100 yard breaststroke and a 12th place finish in the 100 yard IM.
Delhi will shift their attention to the Little East Conference Championship on February 14th.
