Delhi Swim wraps up second consecutive invite at Hartwick to start the season

Oneonta, NY - Delhi Swim and Dive traveled to Hartwick College for a tri-meet with the Hawks and St. Rose, with both the men and women securing third place.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW 

The standout performance of the day was delivered by the women's team, comprised of senior Kitty Messina (Canandaigua, NY), sophomore Veronica Coe (Oneonta, NY), freshman Olivia McPeek (Binghamton, NY), and Melanie Wirtz (Ithaca, NY). They grabbed a close second place in the 200 Yard Medley Relay with an impressive time of 1:58.31. 

Messina later posted a solid performance in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:30.77. As well as McPeek in the 50 Yard Freestyle and Coe in the 200 Yard Freestyle. 

On the men's side, freshman diver Anthony Matheis (Farmingdale, NY) claimed the second spot in the three-meter dive, earning a score of 185.10.

Delhi Swim and Dive will head to Potsdam College on Saturday, November 4th.
