Delhi, NY - The North Atlantic Conference Preview marked the second meet of the SUNY Delhi Cross Country 2024 campaign. The men's team placed second overall, while the women placed third overall.
It was a competitive contest for the women's 6k, with SUNY Cobleskill finishing first overall (42) Maine-Farmington second overall (42) and Delhi third overall (48). First-year Amanda Intrieri led the charge, finsihing 4th overall (25:11.00), alongside Junior Amelia Bowman-McCoy finishing 6th overall (25:21.40), followed by first-year Charlotte Warner finishing eleventh overall (25:46.70).
As for the men's 8k, Delhi had three runners-up finish after one another (10, 11, 12). First-year Liam Cowdrey was the first Bronco, finishing 10th overall (29:45.80). Senior Sam Lees crossed the line next for Delhi, finishing 11th overall (23:52.20), followed by first-year Wylie Wakefield in 12th place (31:32.40).
Delhi shifts their attention to the Purple Valley Classic at Williams College on Saturday, Sept. 21.
