Women's Cross Country Takes Third Overall, Men Finish Fifth at Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational

Syracuse, NY - The Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational marked the start of the SUNY Delhi Cross Country 2024 campaign. The women's team placed third overall, while the men placed fifth overall. 

It was a competitive contest on the women's side, with Lemoyne finishing first overall (55) ESF second overall (55) and Delhi third overall (58). The Broncos landed two runners in the top ten. Junior Amelia Bowman-McCoy led the charge, finishing 7th overall (17:58.9), alongside first-year Charlotte Warner finishing ninth overall (18:07.4). 

On the men's side, Delhi finished with three runners in the top 25; first-year Liam Cowdrey was the first Bronco, finishing 16th overall (23:24.5). Senior Sam Lees crossed the line next for Delhi, finishing 21st overall (23:24.5), followed by first-year Edward Bradley in 24th place (23:30.1). 

Delhi shifts their attention to the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Preview at home on Saturday, Sept. 14.
