NAC Credits Ferrato as Defensive Player of the Week

Delhi, NY - The North Atlantic Conference continues to shine light on the Broncos. This week they gave credit to sophomore Anthony Ferrato, honoring him as the Defensive Player of the Week for his exceptional performances this past weekend during the back-to-back events.


Ferrato played a big role in two key North Atlantic Conference games this weekend for the Broncos. The sophomore collected a game-high 16 ground balls in Delhi's Saturday 11-9 to Maine Maritime. He would top that performance by scooping up 17 ground balls to claim a new game-high in the Broncos' 15-5 victory over Husson to close out the weekend. For the week, the Oceanside, New York native collected 33 ground balls. Ferrato also won 36 of 43 faceoffs for a stellar faceoff win percentage of 83.7%. Offensively, he tallied two assists across the two-game week. 

As the end of the Lacrosse regular season is apporaching, #55 and his team are back at it today as they matchup agaisnt the Trailblazers of MCLA. The game will be up at Neil L. Riddell Field at 5:00pm.
