DELHI, N.Y. (October 5, 2021) - We celebrate this week's Limitless Photos Broncos of the Week recipients Seth Bywater (Cornwall, NY / Cornwall Central) from Men's Cross Country and Dayanara Garcia (Chester, NY / Chester Academy) from Women's Soccer!
Seth Bywater was the Broncos' top finisher at Saturday's SUNY Geneseo 8K Mike Woods Invitational in a preview of next month's NCAA regionals, taking 54th in the 400-plus runner field with a career-best time of 26:14.9. Delhi finished 19th in the 33-team field. Cross country will host their annual Bronco Midweek Classic this Wednesday at 5:15 p.m. at The College Golf Course.
Dayanara Garcia scored the game-winning goal in the Broncos' 1-0 NAC win at Cazenovia on Saturday, breaking a scoreless tie when she received a pass at the top of the box from left-winger Caterina Fox, battling off a defender and lining the score to the bottom left corner in the 79th minute. Women's soccer plays host to Sage Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. in a non-conference meeting before heading to Maine for this weekend's NAC crossover series at Maine Maritime Saturday at 12 noon and Thomas Sunday at 12 noon.
