DELHI, N.Y. (August 24, 2017) – The SUNY Delhi men’s soccer team has announced their 2017 schedule, which features 15 matches, including eight home contests. The Broncos, led by new head coach Brian Mitko, will look to build upon their successful 2016 season, where they finished the regular season at 12-4-0 and competed at the USCAA National Championships.

The Broncos open their season with road contests at Davis (Aug. 30) and Alfred State (Sept. 1). They will swing home for a three-match home stand against Penn State Hazleton (Sept.3), Albany College of Pharmacy (Sept. 9), and NIAC-rival Villa Maria (Sept. 16). After a road meeting with SUNY Canton (Sept. 17), SUNY Delhi will celebrate Family Weekend with a home match against SUNY ESF on Sept. 23. The Broncos will then travel for a NIAC match at the College of St. Joseph the following day, after which they will return home to take on Florida National on Sept. 29. Following a pair of road matches against NIAC opponent Maine Fort Kent (Oct. 1) and Cazenovia (Oct. 3), Coach Mitko’s team will host Berkeley N.J. (Oct. 7) and Vermont Tech (Oct. 11). They will then head out to take on Bryant & Stratton Syracuse on Oct. 17, and will close out the regular season with a home NIAC match against Fisher on Oct. 21. The NIAC Championship will take place from Saturday, Nov. 4 to Sunday, Nov. 5, hosted by Fisher College.
