Men's Soccer Suffers 8-0 Defeat to Bryant & Stratton Syracuse

DELHI, N.Y. (October 17, 2017) – The SUNY Delhi men's soccer hosted Bryant and Stratton Syracuse in an afternoon contest on Tuesday, in which the undefeated Bobcats captured a 8-0 win at Delhi's expense. The Broncos dropped to 6-7, while the Bobcats climbed to 10-0.

Goalkeeper Marcos Andrino finished with six saves, accompanied by one team save, as the Bobcats scored five times in the first half, including one in the final four seconds of the half, and three more in the second half. Bryant and Stratton's Sterling McGee finished with a hat trick, while Uros Momic had two scores and one assist.

SUNY Delhi was outshot, 27-9, and 15-8 in shots on goal. Brody Rettle led the Broncos with three shots on goal, while Joseph O'Halloran, John Cabrera, Michael Zerniak, David Vasquez and Lac Van all had one shot on goal. In a game where there were no cards, the Bobcats had just 11 fouls and Delhi nine.
