E.J. Reutemann was named SUNY Delhi's Men's Soccer Head Coach in June of 2021. In his first season at Delhi and the school’s first year from transition to Division III, the team made some positive strides. Just two years in, Coach Reutemann and the Broncos made their first-ever North Atlantic Championship appearance after winning the NAC West. After going from three wins to the NAC title game in one season coach Reutemann was honored with North Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer Coach of the Year.

Reutemann comes to Delhi after serving on the coaching staff at two-time defending National Champion Tufts University. He previously spent time at Virginia Wesleyan University following an eight-year run with his alma mater SUNY Cortland. A four-year student-athlete and captain for the Red Dragons majoring in Sports Management, Reutemann joined the coaching staff upon graduating. He spent his first five years as Assistant Coach, followed by his last three as the Associate Head Coach. Reutemann earned his Master's degree from Cortland in Sports Management in 2017.

He was part of a coaching staff at SUNY Cortland that compiled a 108-43-11 overall record over eight years, making the postseason each of those seasons and ranking in the top 25 among all NCAA Division III. The program won the 2016 SUNYAC championship in a year where the Red Dragons set the school record for wins with 19 and shutouts with 14. The program qualified for the NCAA Tournament in 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2018, reaching the Sweet 16 in 2014, 2016 and 2018. Reutemann took part in recruiting and retaining student-athletes and teaching classes in health-related fitness, soccer and tactical skills components.

Previously, he served as the head coach of the Ithaca High School girls’ varsity soccer program for four seasons from 2013-16. During his time at Ithaca, Reutemann guided the team to its first sectional title game in 14 years. The program also earned the NYS Scholar-Athlete Team award in each season under his tutelage. A native of Clifton Park, N.Y., won a Class AA state title at Shenendehowa High School. A true student of the game, Reutemann holds a United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma with a Pass of Distinction as well as a USSF "D" license.
