Four Broncos Land NAC Honors Following Second-Place Finish at League Championships

WATERVILLE, Me. (October 14, 2021) - The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) issued its end-of-season awards for men's golf, with four Broncos receiving honors. SUNY Delhi placed second hosting this past weekend's league championships at The College Golf Course with a 612 combined score (309, 303). 

Thomas Christoffersen (Binghamton, NY / ) was Delhi's leading finisher in third place with a 146 (72, 74) for First Team All-NAC. Thomas Long (La Salle, NY / ) came in seventh for Second Team all-conference with a 152 (79, 73). Andrew Saar (Binghamton, NY / received the NAC Rookie of the Year as the conference's highest-finishing first-year player, tallying a 158 to tie for tenth and Second Team all-league. Sean Gordon, who finished 18th with a 166 (80, 86), was named to the NAC Sportsmanship Team, reserved for those who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. The honorees have positively affected the sport culture and match environment by clearly demonstrating sportsmanship and integrity beyond playing rules and etiquette.

The Broncos have one more test this fall at the Le Moyne College Fall Invitational this Friday and Saturday.
