Christoffersen Takes Silver as Golf Places Fourth at SUNY Oswego

OSWEGO, N.Y. (September 27, 2021) – Led by sophomore Thomas Christoffersen's second-place finish, the SUNY Delhi men's golf team registered a fourth-place finish at Saturday and Sunday's SUNY Oswego Fall Invitational, hosted at the par-71, 6424-yard Oswego Country Club. Christoffersen scored a 156 over the two-day tournament with respective scores of 75 and 81, finishing one stroke off the lead. The Broncos carded a team score of 671.

John Williamson was Delhi's next finisher in 25th at 168 (79, 89), followed by Sean Gordon in 33rd with a 173 (84, 89) and Andrew Saar 35th with a 174 (86, 88). Jordan Starley took 40th with a 185 (95, 90). Competing individually was Thomas Long in 14th place with a 163 (81, 82).

The weekend competition offered the Broncos their final test before the NAC Championships, which they are set to host Saturday, Oct. 9 and Sunday, Oct. 10 at The College Golf Course.
