Broncos Play Win-And-In Against Poly; Fall 3-0

MARCY, NY (May 1, 2022) --- SUNY Delhi played their 4th game in three days, in a "win-and-in" scenario against SUNY Poly. The Broncos' bats never got going and the Wildcats were able to do just enough to pull out a 3-0 win.

SUNY Delhi 0 vs. SUNY Poly 3

The first nine Delhi batters were retired in order to start the game. Poly were able to take advantage of three, 2nd inning singles to bring in the only two runs they would need. Kayla Beers was able to lead off the fourth inning with a single but was left stranded. Poly tacked on another insurance run in the top of the 6th. The Broncos were again retired in order in the fifth and sixth innings. In their last at-bat, Danielle Seymour walked to get the lead off batter on base but again was left stranded as the Broncos ran out of outs.

Seymour pitched the full 7 innings for Delhi.

The Broncos conclude the season with a 7-18 overall record and 4-8 NAC record.
