WATERVILLE, Me. (March 29, 2021) - The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) awarded freshman Jarod Rackliffe (Niskayuna, NY / Niskayuna) as both its Men's Tennis Player and Rookie of the Week for his first career collegiate match. Rackliffe played the number-one singles and doubles spot for the Broncos in their 5-4 season-opening win Saturday against Northern Vermont Lyndon. He shutout his opponent Neal Mulligan with matching 6-0 scores in the singles matchup, then teamed up with Chris Balogh to defeat Mulligan and Ken Niemann in doubles 8-1. Rackliffe, Balogh, and Ryan Fitzpatrick all posted singles and doubles wins to account for all of Delhi's game-clinching wins.

Rackliffe and the Broncos continue their season next Tuesday, April 6 at SUNY Oneonta.
