Coach Miller: "Thank You SUNY Delhi Men's Lacrosse"

The SUNY Delhi men's lacrosse team stands on the sideline during the national anthem.

From SUNY Delhi Men's Lacrosse Head Coach Sam Miller:

"I'll do my best to keep this short (if you played here you know this usually means it won't be). One week after what would be our final team meeting, I wanted to take a minute to say a few thank you's. Thank you to everyone on campus at SUNY Delhi for supporting us. Thank you to the parents and families and friends who spent hours in the car chasing us around the east coast and braved the freezing 'spring' weather to see a game this year. Thank you to the assistant coaches who took the small amount of free time they had and devoted it to us. Thank you to the 31 guys on the team for making the shortened season a memorable one. To those who will be back: stay hungry - keep working. Thank you and CONGRATS to the seniors and other guys graduating. You guys had amazing careers - without you this whole thing is over before it starts. You were relentless. You didn't have an ounce of quit in you. You were great teammates. We will miss you. But as you all know - Once a Bronco, Always a Bronco! Lastly, I ask that we all learn a lesson from the cancelation of spring sport seasons. Be grateful. Be grateful for the time you did get to spend together in the locker room, or on the bus or in the bubble. Be grateful for the games we did play. Be grateful and don't take anything for granted because at any minute it could change. Looking forward to 2021. We will be back stronger than ever."
