DELHI, N.Y. (September 7, 2021) – A hat trick from Alexa DuBois and a final score from Casey Bugbee accounted for SUNY Delhi women's soccer 4-0 home victory Tuesday against Elmira. The Broncos split the goals evenly between both halves to earn their second straight win to improve to 2-1.

Picking up from her two-goal performance in Saturday's victory, DuBois gathered a loose ball off a cross from Caterina Fox and dribbled it in in the 26th minute. Similar to her and Olivia Curry's scoring connection from Saturday, DuBois headed in a well-placed corner from Curry to give Dlehi a 2-0 advantage in the 34th minute. Curry almost had a score of her own nine minutes into the second half when her 40-yard free kick bounced off the crossbar, where Kelsey Innes sought possession and fed it to DuBois to connect for the third score of the day in the 55th minute. The final tally came six minutes later, where Innes and DuBois teamed up for a quick corner-kick play, with Innes feeding the ball to DuBois who fired a shot towards the net that was snaked in by Bugbee in minute 61.

Rachael Scoones garnered six saves to improve to 2-1 on the season. The Broncos outshot the Soaring Eagles 15-7, including 9-6 in shots on goal.

DuBois brings her scoring totals to 12 points on five goals and two assists, currently leading the NAC in points and goals on the season. Innes' first two assists of the season bumper her numbers to eight points with three goals.

SUNY Delhi takes its winning streak on the road and to the test this weekend as they participate in the New England College Tournament, beginning with Roger Williams Friday at 3:00 p.m. and then the host Pilgrims Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
