Delhi, NY - Delhi Women's Basketball (2-21, 0-13) faced NAC opponents SUNY Canton at home Friday night and were defeated 80-47. Despite the loss, freshman Aniya Jones had a great game, recording an 18-point, 11-rebound double-double.

The Broncos found themselves down 35-23 at half after scoring 16 second-quarter points. Angelica Lazo led the team with eight points, while Jenn Roche was able to grab five rebounds and five points.

The final score would be 80-47 as the Broncos ended with two double-digit scorers. Jones had a great overall game with the team-high 18 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and two steals. Lazo also added 12 points, three rebounds and three steals as the backcourt duo led the team.

Delhi will move on to their last regular season game of the year, hosting NVU-Johnson tomorrow, February 11th at 1 PM.
