Women's Basketball lose game two of Hat City Tournament; Lazo named to All-Tournament Team

Danbury, CT - The Delhi (2-10, 0-3) women's basketball team took on Mitchell College in the second round of the Hat City Tournament on Saturday and were defeated 101-30. Every Bronco who touched the floor would score but turnovers proved to be too costly in the end.

The Broncos had five scorers through the first half led by freshman ​​Rhys Flansburg's six points. He would have one of his best games of the season, putting up a season-high eight points and eight rebounds, including five offensive boards. 

Point guard Angelica Lazo would play all 40 minutes of the game as she put up the team-high 12 points and added two steals. She had a solid tournament, scoring 27 total points and being recognized with a selection on the All-Tournament team. Jenn Roche Jimenez played well in her second game of the season, recording nine rebounds, three assists and three steals. 

The Broncos will move on to their first home game in 42 days when they host Hartwick at 6 P.M. on December 3rd.
