Delhi, NY - The Women's Basketball team (2-17,0-9) hosted NAC opponents Cazenovia Saturday and were defeated 63-49. The Broncos held tough throughout the game but were outlasted in the end.
Delhi ended with three players in double-digits in scoring. Point guard Angelica Lazo had a great day, pouring in her career-high 20 points. Aniya Jones and Jenn Roche were a big part of the offense, combining for 23 points. Jones would end with seven rebounds, four assists and four steals as she was active in every play.
The Broncos will move ahead to hosting SUNY Cobleskill on January 28th at 1:00 PM.
