STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (May 11, 2021) – The SUNY Delhi men's golf team captured the USCAA National Invitational title Tuesday, using a 300 score to move up from third place after day one Monday and overtake first-day leaders Mississippi UW and Campbellsville Harrodsburg with a 599 two-day total. Jarrett McWilliams capped off his stellar senior season and career with a second-place finish, leading Delhi with a 146 two-over-par score after carding a 74 Tuesday. McWilliams, who received NAC West and NAC Co-Medalist honors at the Broncos' recent conference championships, added USCAA First Team All-American honors alongside teammates Brandon Palmer and Daniel Christy.

Palmer, who led the Broncos with a 71 score after day one, scored a 77 to finish fifth with a 148. Christy improved upon his 77 ledger from Monday with a 73 to take sixth at 150. Jason Cyr and Zach Barrett received Second Team All-American honors, tying for 12th with 158 scores. Cyr tallied a 77 second-day mark, a four-stroke improvement, while Barrett scored a 79 to match his first-day outing.

Christy picked up his third USCAA All-American honor, the most for any Bronco in program history. A three-time USCAA participant, he was a Second Team finisher in 2018, followed by back-to-back First Team honors. Barrett received his second straight All-American honor after taking First Team in 2019. Tuesday's finishes marked the first All-American awards for Palmer, Cyr, and McWilliams.

Mississippi UW's Brandon Walker won the individual title with an even 144 off matching 72 scores. Day-one frontrunners MUW and Campbellsville Harrodsburg shared 297 scores after Monday. The second day saw MUW produce a 305 score to take second with a 602, as CUH scored a 310 for third place at 607.

Monday's and Tuesday's competition took place at the par-72, 6329-yard Penn State Blue Course. It also marked SUNY Delhi's final foray in a USCAA championship setting as the institution prepares for full-time NCAA Division III membership. Golf fittingly served as the backdrop for the school's final USCAA appearance, as the program was SUNY Delhi's first-ever league entry when it competed at the 2014 USCAA Championships.
